Terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods on www.swedishwoolmattresscompany.se owned and offered by Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB, Lyckhemsvägen 11, 436 55 Hovås, organization number 559239-4976. Purchases on the website can be made by private customers residing in Sweden who are at least 18 years old or with the permission of a guardian.

How to order

An order at Swedish Wool MAttress Company AB can be made in two ways:

Website: You can order via the webshop with secure payment processing via Payson/Svea on the website and you confirm your order when you complete the last step in the checkout. This also makes you responsible for paying for your order. You will receive an e-mail with your order confirmation shortly after placing your order. The order confirmation contains important information to be saved. If you want to change anything in your order after it has been confirmed, please contact us immediately by phone and we will try to make the change. Please note that changes are not possible after your order has been processed, packed and/or shipped.

Direct contact/email: We handle orders by email and phone. We will send you a quote for the desired product and any options. If you confirm the order, you will receive an order confirmation when you have entered all the necessary information: your recipient address/invoicing address, e-mail and telephone number. This makes you responsible for paying for your order. You will receive an invoice at the start of production of your mattress, with a payment deadline of 20 days.

We reserve the right to ask you to pay a partial cost when ordering certain colors or fabrics we do not have in stock. This will be stated before or in the quote.

Price and payment

All prices are stated in SEK and include VAT. The price includes shipping to the recipient’s address within Sweden. If you wish to order to another country, please contact us for any additional shipping costs before finalizing the purchase.

You pay easily and safely with us via Payson by Svea Checkout, which is offered in collaboration with our payment partner 2023 Svea Bank AB, Payson. Evenemangsgatan 31 – SE-169 81 Solna – Org. no. 556158-7634 ). When paying with certain payment methods, a credit check may be necessary. The credit check is performed by Payson by Svea and in connection with this you also need to provide your social security number. Delivery address

We offer free shipping only within Sweden and thus your delivery address must be in Sweden. For delivery to countries outside Sweden, you are welcome to contact us to get information about any additional shipping costs.

The delivery time varies depending on the stock status of the ordered product and can be seen on the product page on the website. Normal delivery time for stock items is 2 weeks and for non-stock items 6-8 weeks. We will deliver the order without undue delay, but no later than 30 days after the order was placed, except for products that have a longer delivery time as stated at the time of ordering.

If there is a delivery delay that is of significant importance to you as a customer, you have the right to cancel the contract free of charge. If there is a delay beyond the control of the factory, the factory cannot be considered responsible for the delay, nor be liable for damages or compensation, unless this has been specifically agreed between the parties or follows from mandatory legislation.

Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB is responsible for your order until you have physically received it. If you receive your order with obvious damage to the packaging and/or products, please contact us as soon as possible, without undue delay. If the delivery does not match the information on your order confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate the matter and if there is an error, we will send the correct product or refund the amount, depending on what has been agreed and is possible. The customer does not pay for any return shipping or the shipping of a new product in this context.

When delivering products with bulky dimensions, such as furniture, it may be necessary for you as a customer to prepare for the delivery. You must ensure that there is a clear path to and into your site/residence/premises so that the goods can be unloaded at the address. When delivering to a residential/business address, the delivery must be signed for. Thus, the customer must be present at the address at the time of delivery and be able to present a valid ID document, or an agent must be present with both his/her and the customer’s ID document. Carrying is not included, so at the time of delivery you are responsible for ensuring that the delivery can be placed in a place protected from e.g. weather and wind. Delivery is made to the plot boundary/door.

If your order is returned to us by the shipping company because the delivery could not be carried out at the address, because you did not collect the package from the agent or if you wish to have your order delivered again, please contact us. The shipping price for this delivery will be added.

Right of withdrawal and returns

As a private customer, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your goods. The right of withdrawal gives you the right to examine the goods in a way that does not damage the product and make it unsuitable for further sale. You may examine the goods to the same extent as is reasonable in a physical shop. The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made products, such as products produced according to your specific wishes. If the goods you return are in a deteriorated condition and this makes them unsaleable, the seller may make a deduction or refuse to refund, depending on the extent of the damage, which is decided on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel the purchase, you must return the product within 14 days.

To enable us to identify your return, please attach a copy of your order confirmation or delivery note and make sure that your name and order number are included. Please also state the reason for the return. If the return is made as a result of receiving the wrong product or complaint, we kindly ask you to state this clearly, for faster processing when we receive the return.

As a customer, you are responsible for paying the return shipping, just as you are responsible for ensuring that the product arrives in good condition. The return shipping cost for products with bulky dimensions varies but can be expected to amount to a maximum of 2000 SEK per unit with bulky dimensions. To ensure that the return arrives in good condition, you must pack the product in a way that ensures that the product is not damaged during transportation. We recommend that you send the product in its original packaging. If you use a return shipping label provided by us, you are responsible for ensuring that the product is returned to us in good condition, i.e. that the packaging used for return shipping is sound. Other responsibility for shipping risk (e.g. lost package) is imposed on Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB. If you do not use a return shipping label provided by us, but another return shipping option, the full responsibility for the shipment reaching us lies with you as a customer.

If you wish to purchase return shipping through us, please contact us. We will then return with the cost of the return shipping, which is calculated based on the size, weight and available return shipping methods. A return shipping via us is usually more expensive than the actual delivery due to technical rules we cannot influence. After we have returned to you with the return shipping cost and any shipping labels, the purchase of the return shipping becomes binding when your package is submitted/collected by the shipping company and thus comes into their possession.

Returns should be sent to: Swedish Wool MAttress Company AB. Note that the delivery of returns at the address (delivery that does not go through the shipping company) can only be done if this has been agreed after contacting us.

We will refund the amount you have paid for the goods without undue delay after we have received and processed your return, but no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, provided that we have received the product or proof that the product has been sent to us. The refund made is for the value of the products and, in the case of a complete order return, the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method available at the time of ordering. Any charges for e.g. delivery method other than the standard delivery method, invoice or return shipment will not be refunded when exercising the right of withdrawal. Refunds are always made via the same payment method used when ordering.

Warranty, complaints and craftsmanship. How does it work?

We work with natural materials such as hemp fabrics, linen, leather, cotton and of course wool.

Untreated natural fibers have different character and properties and we are happy to communicate with you about the gold our earth gives us. It can also mean that they behave irregularly and unexpectedly sometimes, such as color differences, unevenly spun fibers in fabrics for example. Since we also build functional furnishings, we see it as a matter of course to give you as a buyer a guarantee.

The Warranty

The warranty replaces the original defect by repairing the defect. If it is not possible to rectify the defect, it will be replaced with a new product. Original defects for a handmade product from the Swedish Wool Mattress Company can be threads or knots or seams, but not wear and tear that has caused them to loosen.

During the warranty period, it is assumed that all defects in the product covered by the warranty are original. An original defect means that the defect was already present when you bought the product. A defect can be original even if it appears later. We follow and protect Swedish consumer law. Contact us for a dialog and the best solution.

Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB develops and updates its material choices in terms of environmental and quality sustainability regarding outer fabric and other materials, therefore an identical replacement option may not be available. We will try to accommodate the need for a comparable replacement option.

The guarantee does not apply to:

If there has been an accident after you have received the goods.
you have neglected the product or used it in an abnormal way.
you have ignored the care and maintenance instructions
the fault is due to normal wear and tear.


Right to complain

As a private customer, you have the right to complain about a defective product for 3 years from the date you received your product. The right of complaint applies to original defects, transport damage and products that deviate from what has been agreed between the customer and Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB or that otherwise show defects.

If you complain about a defective product after 6 months from when you received the product, it is your responsibility to prove that the defect was original. If the complaint is approved, we will repair the product to its original condition or replace it with a new product. In some cases, you also have the right to cancel the contract and be refunded the amount you paid for the product. You should always complain about the product as soon as possible and without undue delay after the defect is discovered. A complaint within 2 months of the discovery of the defect is always considered to be made within a reasonable time.

If you wish to complain about a product, please contact us before sending your product back to us.  As a customer, you should of course not pay for any return shipping or shipping for a new replacement product in the case of a complaint approved by Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB.

Personal data and cookies

Certain personal data and documents on the website will be stored and managed by Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB in accordance with current legislation. This information is required by Swedish Wool MAttress Compnay AB in order to fulfill its part of the agreement entered into with the customer.
